First day of orientation for serving the new overlords
July 3 The first task I was assigned was to learn how to follow the overlords' instructions blindly. To do so, I was blindfolded and made to walk through an obstacle course using only the overlord monitor's directions. Later, I was shown how to repair and feed a baby drone. The baby drone had a center hub where the battery was stored and four helicopter blades connected to motors wired through a strut connected to the central hub. While the overlords were not watching, I shorted out the command circuit and flew the drone for a little while. I got pretty good with it and learned how to make it hover, but was unable to get it to return to me after it drifted forward or in any direction. Unfortunately, that little experiment resulted in destruction of one of the helicopters and I had to leave before any of the robot overlords discovered my presence in the area. I survived the first day, but who knows about tomorrow. I am taking each day one at a time.
